SCOPE OF WORKS
The project is an EPC contract for the design, engineering, procurement, supply, construction, installation, inspection, testing, pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up, performance testing, and handover of a new fertilizer granulation plant capable of producing (DAP), (MAP), (NPS), and (NPK) fertilizer grades.
The scope also includes a DAP storage facility equipped with a reclaimer, belt conveyors, a tripper system, and all associated conveying and material-handling facilities required to connect the new plant and storage facility to the existing production plant and export conveyor system. The works encompass all civil, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, automation, utilities, and ancillary systems, including PLC/DCS integration, tie-ins with existing systems.
The project is located within an existing operational industrial and phosphate-processing complex in Aqaba, surrounded by active process facilities, conveyors, substations, storage areas, internal roads, and other plant infrastructure. Accordingly, execution will require controlled access, close coordination with ongoing plant operations, careful management of system tie-ins, and effective segregation of construction activities from existing operational facilities.
